Stories of Casa Q

As the only shelter of its kind in New Mexico, Casa Q is the only option for many young LGBTQ people. For many of the youth that enter our doors, Casa Q is the beginning of a new journey of healing, growing, and self-discovery. Reflecting on this past year, we want to share with you the stories of the youth.

We hope that these stories will offer you get a better understanding of the importance of the work that we do. Without the Casa Q house, many LGBTQ youth would be without housing, support, or a voice telling them that they are valid and important, just the way they are.

It is through the support of our contributors that we are able to provide the essential services that are so needed. As we come to the end of 2021, we ask that you join us in lifting up the voices of these youths.
