As the only shelter in New Mexico specifically for LGBTQ+ youth, Casa Q knows how important it is that EVERYONE has a safe space. In addition to providing housing, therapy, education, medical care, and a 24/7 support team, we offer a setting for our young people to explore and discover what it is that they need to heal and grow.
We understand that providing a space for everyone means allowing each youth who comes through our doors to define what exactly that means to them. That may mean a space for self discovery, for healing, for education access, or to form deep friendships and a chosen family.
Throughout our Summer Campaign, we will be sharing with you the voices of our youth, staff, and community members as they reflect on how Casa Q has provided an essential space for them.
