Blooming with Pride

At Casa Q, we know that for a young person to bloom, they need more than just shelter, they need safety, care, affirmation, and a community that believes in them. As the only organization in New Mexico providing housing and comprehensive services specifically for LGBTQ+ youth, Casa Q is often the first place our residents have ever felt truly seen and supported.

This Pride season, we’re celebrating the young people who are discovering, for the first time, that they can be fully themselves and still be loved, safe, and surrounded by people who care. But we’re also mindful that this joy exists alongside real threats: anti-LGBTQ+ policies, rising hate, and attacks on the very services that help youth survive.

That’s why this campaign is called "Blooming with Pride", because even in difficult conditions, our youth are blossoming. And it’s thanks to you, our beautiful and powerful community.

Our shelter and Transitional Living Program offer more than a place to sleep: they provide case management, therapy, meals, education support, and a 24/7 team of caring adults. Every gift helps us continue to provide a space where LGBTQ+ youth can not just survive but flourish.

Plants need sunlight, water, and healthy soil. Young people need belonging, care, and community. That’s where you come in.
